This tour offers the opportunity to experience two of Hokkaido’s most iconic destinations: Niseko, one of Japan’s premier ski resorts, and Sapporo, one of the world’s leading snow cities. Located within approximately two hours from New Chitose Airport, the gateway to Hokkaido, these areas allow you to enjoy both magnificent nature and vibrant urban culture in Niseko, a ski experience will be arranged depending on snow conditions, allowing you to immerse yourself in Hokkaido’s unique winter environment. In Sapporo, you will explore the city on foot and experience its distinctive urban culture, including local cuisine and nightlife. Hokkaido shares similarities with Canada in terms of climate, natural environment, and winter lifestyle. Throughout this tour, you will discover Japan’s unique culture and charm while also feeling a sense of familiarity through these connections.

Highlights:
Day 1: Welcome with locally brewed beer from a city known for its pure water, along with Hokkaido’s soul food.
Day 2: Enjoy a ski experience at Niseko, one of Japan’s premier ski resorts.
Day 3: Visit one of Japan’s leading whisky distilleries, then explore Sapporo on foot with a Canadian resident of Hokkaido, experiencing local life and culture.
Day 4: Visit a shrine and experience the traditional culture of Hokkaido.

Itinerary

Day1 (December 4)– Chitose City, Hokkaido

16:00-17:00 Departure from Haneda Airport
17:40-18:40 Arrival at New Chitose Airport
Meet and greet by your guide at the arrival lobby
19:30-20:30 Welcome dinner and networking event in Chitose
20:45 　　 Arrival at hotel in Chitose

Dinner Details: Genghis Khan (grilled lamb BBQ) at Restaurant Haube, located inside the Kirin Beer Hokkaido Chitose Factory.
・Experience Hokkaido’s local food culture with “Genghis Khan”(lamb BBQ)
・Enjoy freshly brewed beer made with Chitose’s pure water, served directly from the factory
・Networking opportunity with local tourism stakeholders in Chitose

Day2 (December 5) – Niseko Area, Hokkaido

14:00-15:00 Snowmobile tour

17:00 Check-in at the hotel
18:30 Networking dinner with Niseko ski resort stakeholders

Cancellation Fees:
• 20% of the tour fee will apply 20 days prior to the trip start date
• 30% of the tour fee will apply 7 days prior to the trip start date
• 40% of the tour fee will apply 1 days prior to the trip start date
• 50% of the tour fee will apply on the trip start date
• 100% of the tour fee will apply after the start of the tour or the traveler cancels without notice

Skiing Operations in Case of Weather Conditions:
In the event that the ski resort is closed due to weather or insufficient snowfall, the tour will roceed with the following alternative itinerary:

Day2 (5 December)– Niseko Area, Hokkaido
10:00–12:00 Ski resort inspection via the Ace Gondola at Niseko Hirafu
12:00–13:00 Lunch at LUPICIA
13:00–15:00 Premium snowshoe experience
15:30–16:30 Sake tasting experience at Niseko Shuzo
17:00 Check-in at Intuition Niseko
18:30 Networking dinner with Niseko ski resort stakeholders
