From breathtaking landscapes to rich culture and mouthwatering local cuisine, this itinerary captures the essence of Hokkaido in one unforgettable trip.
Start your tour in the historic city of Hakodate. Stroll through the charming Motomachi district, visit the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, and enjoy a stunning night view from Mt. Hakodate — one of the world’s top three nightscapes.
On day2, start your morning at the lively Hakodate Asaichi Morning Market for a fresh seafood breakfast. Then, travel through scenic Lake Onuma to Noboribetsu. Visit the Edo-themed Date Jidaimura (Samurai & Ninja Village) and explore the dramatic Hell Valley before relaxing in a natural hot spring bath.
DAY 3 takes you to Lake Toya and through the countryside with views of Mt. Yotei, often called “Hokkaido’s Mt. Fuji.” Stop at Fukidashi Park for pure spring water and sample local wine and whisky in Yoichi before reaching Otaru, a charming town filled with history and romance.
Discover Otaru’s picturesque canal, glass workshops, and music box stores before heading to Sapporo. En route, visit the Ishiya Chocolate Factory, Sapporo Beer Museum, and the Former Hokkaido Government Office. End the day exploring Odori Park or enjoying dinner in the lively Susukino district.
Next take a day trip to the scenic flower fields of Furano and Biei. Stroll through Farm Tomita and Shikisai-no-Oka, famous for their colorful seasonal blooms, and enjoy a tasting at a local winery. Return to Sapporo in the evening.
Then transfer to New Chitose Airport. Spend some time shopping at the airport or nearby outlet mall before your flight home on the final day.

Itinerary:
Arrive at Hakodate Airport and transfer to downtown Hakodate, harbour city in Hokkaido.
Visiting historic temple, Motomachi slope, Kanamori warehouse and cape Tachimachi. After check in the hotel, go to Mt. Hakodate and take a ropeway ride for world-famous panoramic view of Hakodate and its surroundings.
Overnight in Hakodate
After check out, visit the Hakodate Asaichi morning market where you can have a seafood breakfast before driving to Noboribetsu. Stopover at lake Onuma for a beautiful scenery. Enjoy and learn Japanese old culture at Date Jidaimura (Ninja village) in Noboribetsu. Then visit Hell Valley, where all the hot springs resorts in this area depend on for it’s sulphurous water supply to their pubic baths. Enjoy the hot springs bath tonight.

Drive to Otaru today. First, visit lake Toya for great view, and stopover at Fukidashi Park where you can collect mineral water for drinking. Pass by Mt. Yotei (Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido), have a quick stop at one of the fruits garden in Niki. And how about tasting wine at winery and whisky at distillery in Yoichi before reaching Otaru?
Overnight in Otaru
In the historical town Otaru, visit Canal, Kitaichi Glass factory as well as the Musical Box factory. We suggest Sushi lunch in Otaru. After Otaru proceed to Sapporo. On the way to Sapporo, visit one of the beer factories in Sapporo, the famous Ishiya Chocolate factory, the Old Government house of Hokkaido and Odori Park.
Overnight in Sapporo
Drive to Furano and Biei – a popular place of flower. Farm Tomita, Shikisai-no-oka, etc. It is just breathtaking scenery you have expected in Hokkaido. Enjoy tasting Furano wine at winery. And go back to Sapporo. It takes almost whole day from Sapporo.
Overnight in Sapporo
Check out after breakfast and head for New Chitose airport. It takes almost one hour. And spend some time to do your last minute shopping in the airport or factory outlet mall near the airport.
