Hokkaido Blossoms(Jun-Sep)
Where adventure meets relaxation — explore Hokkaido from Tomamu to Noboribetsu
From mountain peaks to flower fields, from calm onsen towns to lively cities — Hokkaido unfolds day by day.
After checking in Tomamu, one of the island’s most renowned mountain resorts, take part in exciting outdoor activities such as horse trekking, rafting, or even a hot-air balloon ride. Those seeking a slower pace can enjoy local crafts and the soothing hot springs surrounded by nature.
Wake up early the next morning to witness Tomamu’s breathtaking “Unkai” – a sea of clouds that spreads across the valley at sunrise. It’s one of Hokkaido’s most unforgettable sights. Spend a relaxing morning exploring the resort before heading to Furano, the heart of Hokkaido’s flower country. On the way, stop at a local farm to taste juicy melons and watermelons — a true taste of summer in Hokkaido.
In Furano, visit popular local attractions such as Farm Tomita, the Furano Winery, and a charming ice cream and jam factory. The gentle scenery of nearby Biei and its famous Blue Pond provide perfect photo opportunities before you continue on to Sapporo, Hokkaido’s largest city.
Spend the morning exploring Sapporo’s highlights and drive to the nostalgic port town of Otaru, where you can stroll along the Otaru Canal, admire the sparkling works of the Kitaichi Glass Factory, and enjoy the melodies at the Music Box Museum.
Your journey continues to Noboribetsu, one of Japan’s most famous onsen towns. En route, stop by the Nikka Whisky Distillery in Yoichi for a tasting, visit fruit orchards in Niki, and enjoy scenic views of Mt. Yotei — often called the “Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido.” Before reaching your destination, take in the beauty of Lake Toya and the crystal-clear spring water of Fukidashi Park.
At Noboribetsu, unwind in the mineral-rich hot springs and explore Hell Valley (Jigokudani), the dramatic volcanic landscape that powers the area’s onsens.
On your final day, return to New Chitose Airport, where you can enjoy last-minute shopping for Hokkaido sweets and souvenirs at the airport or nearby outlet mall before your departure.
This six-day journey offers the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and culture — showcasing Hokkaido’s natural beauty, delicious flavors, and warm hospitality.
