This six-day journey highlights the natural beauty, gentle walking trails, and soothing hot springs of southern Hokkaido.
It begins with an arrival at New Chitose Airport and an immediate transfer to Noboribetsu Onsen, one of Japan’s most renowned hot spring regions. Here, guests can unwind and prepare for the days of exploration ahead.
On the second day, the itinerary features the dramatic landscape of Jigokudani, or Hell Valley, where steam vents and volcanic activity create a striking environment. A scenic loop walk leads to Oyunuma Pond and its natural footbath, offering a rare outdoor relaxation experience. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Lake Toya, a calm crater lake surrounded by soft mountain silhouettes. Visitors stay at Toyako Onsen, enjoying lakeside views and hot spring baths.
Day 3 includes a refreshing visit to Kyogoku Fukidashi Park, known for its crystal-clear spring water and peaceful forest setting. There are two gentle walking options—Shinsennuma or Kagaminuma—both celebrated for their boardwalk trails. Another night at Toyako Onsen ensures a relaxed pace.
