Real Winter Experience(Jan-Mar)

DAY1　New Chitose AP – Nakasatsubai(Tokachi)

Arrive at New Chitose and head to Tokachi area, center of Hokkaido. We recommend to stay at Feriendorf resort in Nakasatsunai village. Under gorgeous night sky with full of stars, you can enjoy special BBQ with local foods there. After experience -20 degrees, warming up in front of the fireplace.  Overnight in Nakasatsunai                                              

DAY2　Nakasatsunai(Tokachi)

Stay another night and enjoy winter activities in Tokachi area.  Snow mobile, dog sledding, snow shoe waling etc. Don’t forget to take photos of “Jewelry Ice”,  getting very popular and instagenic (mid JAN-FEB is the best time to see)  Overnight in Nakasatunai

DAY3　Nakasatsunai – Abashiri

Long drive day today. Akan-Mashu national park is on the way. Full day sightseeing highlights would be beautiful crater lake Akan, the largest lake in Hokkaido lake Kussharo, volcano Mt. Iouzan and clear water lake Mashu.
 Overnight in Abashiri

DAY4　Abashiri – Sounkyo

First take a cruise to enjoy drift ice sightseeing(available from late JAN). Ice fishing can be arranged at lake Abashiri if you are keen to do. 2.5 Hrs drive take you to Sounkyo, Daisetsuzan national park and stay there. Ice fall festival(late JAN – mid MAR) is MUST-SEE       Overnight in Sounkyo

DAY5　Sounkyo – Sapporo

Drive to Sapporo city. Asahikawa is on the way. Sightseeing spots would be Ramen village, Sake museum etc. It is an idea to go to Sapporo while it is still early. Mt. Moiwa and Okurayama, Shiroi Koibito park, Sapporo beer museum etc. are on the list.
Overnight in Sapporo

DAY6　Sapporo – New Chitose AP

Check out after breakfast and head for New Chitose airport. It takes almost one hour. And spend some time to do your last minute shopping in the airport or factory outlet mall near the airport.
